Too much Canadian pop talent? Super size me!

Canadian broadcaster CTV has stretched the Juno Awards, the country's music awards show on March 27, by 30 minutes to two and a half hours.

The extension will help showcase star wattage like Juno nominees Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Eminem and Taylor Swift. Canadian hip-hop star Drake, who leads the field with six nominations, will host the event at Toronto's Air Canada Center. It will air in most parts of Canada from 8 p.m.

The latest additions to the Junos' musical lineup includes Bryan Adams, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Daniel Lanois and Robbie Robertson, who is promoting his first album in 13 years.

Last year's Junos ceremony averaged 1.6 million viewers. The Grammys, by contrast, drew 3.3 million viewers on Global Television last month -- up from 2.8 million last year.
