Former Bills lineman Schobel retires
BUFFALO, N.Y., Former Buffalo Bills defensive end Aaron Schobel said Monday he has decided to retire from professional football.

Schobel told the Bills' official Web site he is hanging up his spikes after being released from the team this month. Schobel indicated he will file his retirement papers soon and won't listen if a team calls about playing again.

The 32-year-old two-time Pro Bowl selection played his entire nine-year for Buffalo after being taken by the Bills in the second round of the 2001 draft out of Texas Christian.

He recorded 10 sacks and 56 tackles in 16 games last season while racking up 483 tackles, 78 sacks and three interceptions in his 133-game career.
