How To: Install the 8PSK Module on VS 9000HD with pics

1. Turn off power to the VS 9000, and unplug.

2. Remove cover.

3. Remove the round rubber plug on the back of the unit.

4. Plug the 2 cables that come with the adapter into the main board. Note: These are 2 distinctly different cables, and can only plug in to one place on the board, so you can't confuse them.

5. Install the board, with the washer and nut and secure it tightly.

6. Plug the 2 provided cables into the adapter.
(you can put the cover back on if you wish)

7. Plug one end of the provided coax cable into the adapter and the other end into the loop out connector that is directly below the "sat in" connector. This is the one on the left, as looking at the unit from behind, on the bottom.

8. Plug power back into the box, and turn on.

9. Go to the Menu

10. Go to User Settings

11. Go to System Settings

12. At the bottom, you will now have the option to turn the External Tuner "ON". Do this.

13. I don't think this is necessary, but it's what I did... Factory Default to get rid of all current channels.

14. Go to Antenna Settings and setup your lnb/switch combinations.

15. Do "Auto Scan" on each of your sats individually.

This should get you what you want. Now enjoy TV, HD style!!!
