Intelsat Ready for Next Launch
Sea Launch said it is preparing for its next mission, the flight of Intelsat's Galaxy 19 satellite, which is scheduled for Sept. 23.
Lift-off is planned for 2:28 a.m. Pacific Time, at the opening of a two-hour launch window.
Built by Space Systems/Loral, the spacecraft carries 52 transponders. Galaxy 19 will provide Intelsat customers 50-state coverage as well service into the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico.
The satellite will be located at 97 degrees.
