-- Israeli troops shot and wounded two Palestinian men who drove through a security checkpoint Sunday morning, an Israeli military spokeswoman said.
The incident occurred near the near the village of Dahariya, in the southern West Bank.
"Earlier this morning, a Palestinian vehicle burst through a crossing near Dahariya," according to the spokeswoman.
"After the vehicle did not respond to calls to stop, the officer on the scene felt he was in danger (and) fired at the vehicle, which continued moving."
Israeli officials later received reports of two injured men in the area, she said.
The details of the incident are being examined.
