I'm trying to get basic Linux to get internet with my computer but i cannot find any device drivers for the motherboard its on, the Biostar M7NCD. i know the drivers must exist in some fashion because when i had Ubuntu on the same machine last year it obtained the required drivers. were can i find the Linux drivers for this motherboard, or were can i find a suitable substitute?

how stupid r a windoser, driverguide!?!in linux not exist driver ok, linux use modules.. and the mother u said are a common nforce (nvidia based) chipset!! u must use a recent high devel distro linux for it!!u must use a recent linux distro, cos modules are usualy includet and shiped into the kernel core image..only few companies made modules for linux, nvidia, ati, via and matrox... and not for all hardware.. u'r mother use recent modules, u maybe found problems at sound!see http://qgqlochekone.blogspot.comdevelopers of modules send patchets and code source to linux kernel issues and mail lists, for include into kernel brand devel..so, install a recent distro, like VENENUX, KANOTIX, (WIN) ubuntu or xandros(in emule for down)
