DENVER, -- Jhoulys Chacin fanned seven in seven innings and Carlos Gonzalez tripled and homered Saturday in Colorado's 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Chacin (7-9) limited the Dodgers to one run on four hits in seven innings while walking four en route to his second straight strong start. The rookie right-hander has yielded only one run in his last 14 2/3 innings of work.
Gonzalez tripled and scored on Troy Tulowitzki's single in the fourth inning to tie the score 1-1 and socked a two-run homer in the seventh for a 5-1 Rockies advantage.
Todd Helton added a solo shot for Colorado, which evened its three-game series with the Dodgers.
Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley (10-8) allowed three runs on five hits over six innings.
