My house is a 2 storey. I had a desktop to connect my wireless router on the second floor. I had an xbox, laptop and an Ipod touch on the first floor. What do you think is the best wireless router do i need to buy to connect all of this without any loss of signal. I appreciate all that will suggest.What brand and model no?

The issue isn't so much what brand to buy as much as it is knowing how to set it up securely. I'd suggest Linksys since there a wealth of information on You Tube on how to setup wireless security properly. Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A88XB7_Jz7sAgain, http://www.youtube.com has many videos that will show you how to setup security on a Linksys because it is the most popular brand.An alternative option is powerline. Powerline is much easier to setup then wireless. As long as you are living in your own house (not in an apartment, townhome, or complex), powerline does not have the security problems.
