There is one more.. Malwarebytes.. which does a pretty good job.. IMHO..

Most of the times.. If bought from ebay.. Many USB sticks manufactured/sold by china market falsely of having high capacities but are actually half the size when one starts using them by adding/deleting files on them..!!

Check/Try changing your DVD Player / TV out color system.. Sometimes its NTSC / PAL / SECAM depending upon your DVD region/location in the world.

Could be your system memory problem.. Try changing/shuffling the memory in memory slots(DIMM) and see if it helps..

As long as you don't reboot orshut down your receiver.. It keeps running ok for the most of time..
