    Personally I would get a JVC Everio series hard drive camcorder which gives you the best of both worlds as you can take still photos on a separate HD card while the excellent quality video is on the hard drive.

    It should all be free. They money they get is for the hardware, and the hardware is useless without drivers.

    How do I install the Mac drivers on Windows XP?

    The drivers are on your OS X disc. Either the recovery discs that came with your Mac or with the OS X disc (if you bought the OS disc). That will have all the drivers you need. I believe its through the Boot Camp assistant to actually install them.
