13.5M watched 'Lost' finale
LOS ANGELES, (UPI) -- Sunday night's series finale of "Lost" was watched by an average audience of 13.5 million viewers, ABC said Monday.
The supernatural/mystery show ended its six-season run with a 2 1/2-hour installment that resolved many of its mind-boggling story lines and reunited numerous long-lost loves.
ABC estimates 20.5 million unique viewers watched the series finale of "Lost" during its broadcast. That figure represents unduplicated viewers who watched 6 minutes or more of the program.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost," which ran after the finale and local newscasts, was seen by 4.88 million people, the network said.
