YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- A truck carrying beer slammed into another vehicle on Route 15 southbound in Franklin Township, York County, Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. Part of Route 15 was closed for hours.
The beer truck driver was reaching for a cup of coffee when he slammed into a pickup truck pulling a trailer, police said.
The lawn care business truck was slowing down to turn right onto Hickory Road. No one in that truck was injured.
Michael Pauloski, 53, of Schuylkill County, who was driving the beer truck, was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He could face charges, police said.
Thousands of cases of Yuengling Lager are being unloaded. Many of the cases are being thrown out because of dented cans.
