Police: Items Include Bomb Making Guides
NORWOOD, Ohio -- People cleaning out a storage space in Norwood got a nasty surprise this weekend.
Norwood police said they were called to a storage building in the 4900 block of Franklin Avenue at about 11 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators said people were cleaning out a unit that belonged to someone who had died and they found some suspicious items.
Officers said they found bottles containing a suspicious liquid and several bomb-making items, as well as instructional booklets on how to make bombs.
Detectives said books and materials about how to change a person's identity were also found at the scene.
Police said none of the materials were rigged to explode.
The Cincinnati Fire Department Bomb Squad and a hazmat unit were called out to dispose of the materials.
