Can you keep your program settings when updating nvidia drivers?

Hi. When I update my Nvidia driver I lose all my 3D settings for my games etc in the Nvidia Control Panel and have to set it all again. Is there a way to keep them after updating your drivers? Thanks for any help.

Well mine didn't work like that and kept all the settings after update.I think you have to turn on a feature from settings to keep past settings.
