Europe's debt problem will get harder and more expensive to solve unless European leaders act aggressively to deal with it, Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Monday.
"The issues facing Europe won't get better, but more difficult to handle and more expensive if not addressed in a unified and aggressive fashion by the European governments," Flaherty said in a statement to Reuters.
"We keep in close and regular contact with our international counterparts and encourage them to take action to address the challenges they face," he said.
