Clark, Wilson share Canadian Open lead

TORONTO, Tim Clark, whose first victory on U.S. soil came at this year's Players Championship, shared the second-round lead with Dean Wilson Friday at the Canadian Open.

Clark shot a 6-under 64 Friday at the St. George's Golf and Country Club course for a 36-hole total of 130. Wilson, whose lone tour victory came four years ago, shot a 65 Friday.

Clark had won more money without a tournament victory than any other player in PGA Tour history before breaking through with his triumph in May. His best finish since then has been a tie for seventh at the John Deere Classic and he missed the cut last week at the British Open.

Rookie Brent Delahoussaye (69), owner of the first-round lead, was tied for third with Steve Wheatcroft (66) at 131. J.J. Henry (65), Rob Grube (66), Brock Mackenzie (68) and Hunter Mahan (67) shared fifth place at 132.

Clark birdied two of his first three holes Friday and completed his first two rounds without making a bogey.
