A construction worker suffered a broken arm and leg Thursday when he was run over by a forklift, the Ottawa Paramedic Service said.
The 45-year-old man suffered the fractures at Algonquin College's new building in the 1000 block of Woodroffe Avenue.
Paramedics received an emergency call at 1:25 p.m.
The man was conscious when they arrived, but was taken to hospital in serious condition.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour and the Ottawa Police Service are investigating.
