- Investigators are trying to determine what caused a dinner-cruise boat carrying 60 passengers to run aground off the coast of Hawaii, the Coast Guard said Friday.
A 65-foot catamaran was heading out to sea in the area of Lahaina Harbor, Maui, Thursday evening when it ran aground, the Coast Guard said in a statement.
Passengers were evacuated from the Spirit of Lahaina vessel and no injuries were reported, the agency said.
