Dwarf Fortress Installation Fmodex Problem?

I want to play my dwarf fortress with mike maydays tileset but when I unzip the file it says that my fmodex.dll is missing. I have repeatedly checked and it is there. This also happens wit the Original file. I have a windows 7 brand new computer too if that helps. I know that fmodex.dll is sound which is useless to me. Is there a way to remove it or take the soundless version of dwarf fortress and implement the mayday tileset.
