Credits goto goofather im just spreading the good news. I've tested with my old cnx nano that was in the closet for years. Using linux can be a pain for some so here's a windows app that works great !!
XX-CLIENT v1.14 For Windows with CNX & Viewsat Supoort
DESCRIPTION
XX-CLIENT is a RQ-SSSP-CLIENT wrapper to allow Viewsat and CNX receivers (possibly more orphaned receivers will be supported in the future) to connect to standard servers using nothing more than the rq-sssp-client configuration file and two paired virtual COM ports. Runs in the Windows console and does not require .NET. Using only about 400k of memory.
System Requirements
Operating System: Windows XP, Windows 7
Dependencies: COM0COM or equivalent virtual port driver (included)
Memory: Same as your Operating System requirements
CPU: Pentium I or better
AUTOMATED INSTALL (Recommended)
Execute WIZARD.EXE, or download the WIZARD zip, and follow the onscreen instructions.

NOTE: When you want to exit xx-client hit Control-C or the X on the console window.
