Energy commodities finish trading down
NEW YORK, Crude oil prices dropped 61 cents Friday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, closing at $76.01 per barrel.
Other energy products followed crude oil's footsteps as well.
Natural gas lost 7 cents, closing at $4.52 per million British thermal units.
Reformulated gasoline lost a penny to finish the trading session at $2.05 a gallon.
New York Harbor No. 2 heating oil closed off 0.0083 cent at $2.01.
The national average retail price for unleaded gasoline rose to $2.723 per gallon, up from Thursday's $2.718, AAA said.
