Fans to text 'Lost' farewell messages
LOS ANGELES, (UPI) -- ABC and Verizon say they will offer "Lost" fans a chance to say farewell to the iconic U.S. drama, which is wrapping its sixth and final season this month.
"Fans will need to watch 'Lost' on Tuesday, May 18, in order to get a special short code to text in their farewell messages," the television network said in a news release Tuesday. "Only Verizon customers are eligible to submit and all texts must be received within 30 minutes after the special short code is aired on ABC."
ABC said selected messages will be used on air May 23 during the retrospective special, "Lost: The Final Journey."
The 2 1/2-hour series finale is set to air after the special.
