A 55-year old man died from his injuries Friday after he was stabbed in a home in the city's Cromdale neighbourhood.
Police were called to a residence located in the area of 110th Avenue and 83rd Street around 7:30 a.m. where they found the victim suffering from a serious stab wound.
The man was rushed to hospital but died during surgery two hours later.
Charges are pending against a 51-year-old woman who police say is known to the victim.
Homicide detectives are working on the investigation with officers from the domestic offender crime section.
