ZURICH – FIFA will go ahead with the 2018 and 2022 World Cup votes despite a probe into alleged bribery and collusion.
FIFA President Sepp Blatter says the vote will proceed as scheduled on Dec. 2 with the executive committee voting by secret ballot in Zurich.
Two executive members are currently suspended after being accused of offering to sell their votes.
FIFA's ethics committee is to decide Nov. 17 on the allegations against Nigeria's Amos Adamu and Reynald Temarii of Tahiti.
The panel also is investigating Spain-Portugal and Qatar for alleged vote-trading.
