In this mission, Lamar has a plan to make some extra money, but can he pull it off this time?

Make your way to Franklin's house and watch the cut scene.

Now Follow Lamar and his dog Chop to his van and climb in. Drive the van to the waypoint in Downtown Vinewood and Park in the alley.

Now Watch another cut scene.

Your target will take off on another motorcycle.

Climb back in the van (don't forget Lamar) and give chase. You don't have to catch him, all you need to do is follow him for now. Use Franklin's special ability to take steep turns and try to prevent any damage to the van. As long as you keep on the motorcycle's tail you'll be fine. Don't try and shoot the target, you need him alive!

Once the target is struck by a bus, he will run off. You will need to follow him on foot through the train yard.

Seeing him up ahead is difficult, instead just follow Chop, he will stay on the targets trail. Continue following the dog as he tails the thug. Be sure to follow the game tutorial prompts as necessary.

This mission is easier if Franklin has boosted his Stamina by at least one notch.

Eventually Chop loses track of the guy.

Now switch to Chop. When Chop gets distracted, you will have to go over and physically stop him. Bad Chop!

Chop will eventually track the target down to a train car furthest from where you started.

Now Hop in the van and start driving.

Eventually, you will need to drop the target on the street. Just slow down and he will get out on his own. If you don't do this quickly, you will get a wanted level. So be sure to do it fast.

As you progress through this mission, you will receive training tips for Chop. Training will make chop a better behaved dog. You will get to use Chop in other missions. So don't worry when Lamar takes him.

To get Gold:

  • Not a Scratch - Complete the mission with minimal damage to Lamar's van. This isn't as tricky as it sounds, so long as you bear in mind that you do not have to catch the motorcycle, and you do not need to pursue the guy down any narrow alleys. Go around buildings when necessary.
  • Homedog - You also need to Enter Chop's perspective for ten seconds.
  • Advanced Reflexes - Use Franklin's special ability for seven seconds. Easy enough, as there are plenty of wide turns that could benefit from the slow-mo approach.
