How do I create a video slide show with music on a Windows 7 PC?

What Windows program(s) can I use to make a video / picture slideshows with music? I would like to do it for free if I can? Can this be done with Windows 7?

Microsoft PowerPoint will do this. Just play the audio with Windows media player while you play the slide show.

Windows Movie Maker can per-installed on most windows computers. If not you can download it of the internet for free.

Yes Windows Movie Maker is the way to go, its free and usually installed on Windows already. All you need to do is import the pictures, music and then add effects. Very simple!
