Installing nvidia drivers on vista 64?

I'm trying to install an Nvidia GPU driver on my 64 bit vista, but it's not working. I DID click on the 64 bit download and not the 32, and I AM sure my vista is 64, but the install setup doesn't recognize my computer as compatible. I keep getting the message: "The NVIDIA program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit"What's going on? How do I make this work?

Get CPU-Z and run it. Go to the About tab and see what OS you have to be sure. If it is Vista x64 then try getting the beta driver if there is one available. If it still doesn't work then you should contact NVIDIA directly or try some hardware forums.
