is there a way i can restore my printer or reset it in some way ?

when ever i turn on my printer the lights blink saying i need to buy new ink but i've already fitted new ink cartridges and its stuck on 3 copies dnt know why...plus i cant print anythink any help wuld b g8 thxo yea i got a hp psc 1317 all-in-one printer

hmm im thinking if you just unplugged your printer and plugged it back in...that should do the job.

If massive booting does not work, try opening the print director or solutions software or whatever other print utility programs you might be using and try printing an alignment page. Then run the page through your machine and see if it clears the problem. We have a 4300 series HP that is used almost exclusively for faxing due to the excessive cost of ink, that requires we do this or it will continuously revert to error indication and hang. Also, make certain you remove the protective film from both your carts when you installed them. That has happened before too. Just a thought. Good luck.
