Kbox losing picture every few minutes

Hello,

Newbie question.
My kbox prodigy loses picture (scrambled channel) every few minute, I then have to reboot the box to restore the picture. Tis happens periodically to the point it is unusable.

Anyone seen this before? Any fixes to it?

I'm not sure what private server you have but if you have one of those server....it's been over a week now those server freez and you can not watch a good time TV. Nothing wrong with your box or file it's the server and ECM.

Out of curiosity though, why would this happen? Is it connection?

Because when the server got hit with what's known as ECM the server goes down then server team work to fix the problem and it'll take some time for the server to be up, during the fix...some freez and may some channels still down.

Do you want me to explain to you what's ECM is?
