Lawyer: Lohan tested negative for alcohol
LOS ANGELES, (UPI) -- A urine test taken after Lindsay Lohan's alcohol monitoring system sounded an alert showed a negative result for alcohol, the U.S. actress's lawyer said.
Lohan, 23, was ordered to wear the SCRAM bracelet by a Los Angeles judge who wanted to be certain she complied with the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under the influence conviction.
The monitoring system went off earlier this month at an MTV Awards party. But Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told People.com a urine test taken shortly afterward indicated there was no alcohol in Lohan's system and she, therefore, did not violate the terms of her probation.
The star of "Mean Girls" and "The Parent Trap" has another court date July 6, the Web site said.
