Mabius, Norris to star in new U.K. series
LONDON, (UPI) -- Production has begun in South Africa on the new British science-fiction series "Outcasts," starring Eric Mabius and Hermione Norris, the BBC said.
The eight-part series follows a group of human pioneers attempting to populate the fictional planet Carpathia in 2040, the British broadcaster said.
Created by "Spooks" writer Ben Richards, "Outcasts" is to air on BBC One this year.
"'Outcasts' is a richly intelligent, character-led drama full of big ideas about what it is to be human told through thrilling and surprising stories that could only appear in this show," said Ben Stephenson, controller of BBC drama commissioning
