The fury over new security measures at airports apparently hasn't died down by the end of the holiday season.
At least, not in Richmond.
On Thursday afternoon, Richmond International Airport Police responded to an incident outside of Security Checkpoint B when a man reportedly stripped down to his underwear and socks.
Airport spokesperson Troy Bell confirmed the demonstration to CBS 6, which took place shortly after 2 p.m.
According to a report filed by airport officials, a 21-year-old Charlottesville man, Aaron Tobey, was spotted "absent of pants and shirt in full public view, exposing language regarding the 4th Amendment written on his chest and abdomen with marker or crayon."
The 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guards against unreasonable searches and seizures when the searched party has a 'reasonable expectation of privacy.'
National outrage ensued in the fall when TSA announced it would be requiring passengers to undergo either a full-body scan, or be subject to a pat down.
Tobey was detained and interviewed by local police as well as federal authorities. He was then issued a citation for 'disorderly conduct' and released.
He told authorities he's currently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati.
Tobey's arraignment is scheduled for January 10 in Henrico County.
