Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- In the second such attack in two days, militants attacked a police station in Pakistan on Sunday.

The Sunday attack took place in the central Pakistani city of Multan and wounded six, officials said. Initially, police said three people had died, but later clarified to say none had.

The bomb was planted on a motorcycle and detonated remotely, said Amir Zulfiqar, a police official in Multan.

At the time, officers were transporting five people to the police station. Two ran away after the blast, said Tanweer Ahmed, another police official.

Amjad Chandio, a doctor at Nishtar Hospital, said the six injured comprised of: two prisoners who were in police custody at the time; three police officers, and another person.

A day earlier, at least 10 police officers and six militants were killed on Saturday when a police station was attacked in northwestern Pakistan, police told CNN.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for that attack, which occurred in Dera Ismail Khan.
