OAKLAND, Calif., (UPI) -- Bronson Arroyo scattered five hits over eight innings Tuesday to win his seventh consecutive decision and lead the Cincinnati Reds past Oakland 4-2.

Arroyo (7-3) gave up two runs on a third-inning home run by Coco Crisp, but kept the Athletics at bay until giving way to Francisco Cordero, who pitched the ninth and recorded his 18th save.

Corky Miller had two RBI for the Reds, who outhit their hosts 13-7.

Dallas Braden (4-7) took the loss after allowing four runs -- three earned -- on 10 hits over six innings. Braden, who struck out four and walked one, is 0-5 since pitching a perfect game against Tampa Bay May 9.

Miller drove in both runs in the Cincinnati second with a single with runners on second and third. Joey Votto's RBI single in the third made it 3-0.

After Crisp made it 3-2 in the home half of the third with his first home run of the year, the Reds tacked on an insurance run in the fifth when Scott Rolen scored from third on a throwing by shortstop Cliff Pennington.
