SAN FRANCISCO, (UPI) -- James Loney drove in three runs Tuesday to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 4-2 win over Matt Cain and the San Francisco Giants.

The loss was the fourth in a row for the Giants and dropped Cain's record against San Francisco's arch-rivals to 0-8 in 14 career starts.

Cain (6-7) allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks in five innings. Pat Burrell led the Giants' offense with two hits, including a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth.

Matt Kemp had two hits while filling in for Manny Ramirez, who left the game in the first inning due to an injured right hamstring.

John Ely (4-5) picked up his first victory since May 22, holding the Giants to one run on five hits over seven innings. Ronald Belisario earned his first save.

The two teams traded runs in the first inning. The Dodgers scored three in the fifth inning to take a 4-1 lead that held up until Burrell's homer in the ninth.
