BALTIMORE, (UPI) -- Adam Rosales hit a three-run homer in the first inning Wednesday and had four RBI overall, pacing the Oakland Athletics to a 6-1 win over Baltimore.

Rosales had three hits and helped bring the Athletics their fourth victory in five games. Oakland snapped a six-game road losing streak.

Trevor Cahill (3-2) was given a 4-0 lead before he took the mound and eventually allowed a run on two hits over six innings to pick up the victory.

Brian Matusz (2-5) started for the Orioles and opened the game by giving up a single to Rajai Davis.

Davis moved to second on a sacrifice and scored on a single by Kurt Suzuki. Kevin Kouzmanoff then drew a walk and, after Ryan Sweeney grounded into a fielder's choice for the second out of the inning, Rosales hammered a homer to left-center.

Rosales also singled in a run in the sixth.

The only Baltimore run came on a homer by Garrett Atkins, his first for the Orioles.
