MLB: Toronto 3, Tampa Bay 2
TORONTO, (UPI) -- Brandon Morrow tossed seven strong innings and Aaron Lind socked a two-run homer Monday in the Toronto Blue Jays' 3-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Morrow (4-4) won his fourth straight home start, limiting the Rays to one run on three hits over seven innings, issuing two walks and fanning one.

He held Tampa Bay scoreless until John Jaso led off the eighth with a single. Scott Downs came in to relieve and promptly surrendered an RBI triple to B.J. Upton, who then came home on Willie Aybar's groundout to shave Toronto's lead to 3-2.

But Kevin Gregg made the lead hold up in the ninth for his 14th save, despite allowing a triple to Evan Longoria.

Lind's two-run homer came in the first inning and Toronto was never headed after that.

Matt Garza (5-4) surrendered three runs on 10 hits over 6 1/3 innings in the Rays' loss.
