CARSON, Calif., (UPI) -- David Ferreira scored on a penalty kick in the 61st minute Saturday to give FC Dallas a 2-1 win over Chivas USA.
Ferreira's goal -- his second of the season -- came 2 minutes after Osael Romero's header had tied the score 1-1.
Dallas went up 1-0 in the final moments of the first half on a Chivas USA own goal, when Ante Jazic deflected the ball into his own goal on a corner kick.
FC Dallas (4-2-6) is undefeated in its last three matches.
Chivas USA (3-9-1) has lost six straight and is 23 points behind the first-place Los Angeles Galaxy in the Western Conference.
