FRISCO, Texas, Brek Shea and Atiba Harris scored 7 minutes apart in the second half Saturday and FC Dallas prevailed over Real Salt Lake 2-0.
Shea gave Dallas the lead in the 69th minute, picking up a deflected Milton Rodriguez shot and hammering the ball home from the top-left edge of the 6-yard box, his fourth tally of the year.
Dallas (6-2-7) got an insurance marker in the 76th minute when Harris hit a turning shot after a touch by Shea, guiding it into the bottom right corner of the net from 5 yards out.
The game marked the end of a 10-game unbeaten streak for Real Salt Lake (9-4-3), which lost for the first time since April 24 at Columbus. The two goals allowed also snapped RSL's five-game shutout streak.
