Johnson County, Ind. —
A woman out walking her dogs found a motorcycle accident victim laying in a ditch who claims he'd been there for three days.

On October 26, 2010 the Johnson County Sheriff's Office investigated the motorcycle accident at 7678 West State Road 252.

The woman told police she was walking her dogs in the pasture, when she heard someone yelling for help. She found 40-year-old Raymond Lebo of Morgantown injured from a motorcycle accident and said he stated he had been there for three days.

She found Lebo with his leg shattered. Lebo survived three days in the ravine which included near freezing nights and severe weather that tore through Central Indiana Tuesday.

Lebo's black Suzuki sport bike was found laying several feet away. When family members arrived on the scene, they told deputies that Lebo was last seen at the Crowbar Inn, in Trafalgar between midnight and 1:00 a.m. late Friday night. Lebo was supposed to be headed back home to Morgantown, but never arrived. Family members thought he might be staying with a friend.

According to the evidence at the scene, Raymond was riding west on S.R. 252 when he struck the guard rail on the northbound lanes. The cycle then flipped over the guard rail and landed in the ditch. It appears Lebo was wearing a helmet.

Lebo had several injuries and at least one broken leg and was taken by Lifeline to Methodist Hospital.

His mother told Fox59 it's a miracle her son is alive.

Wanda Lebo said neighbors at the crash scene believe her son hit a deer.

Wanda said her son looked up at friends and relatives who were among his rescuers and said, "took you guys long enough to find me."

A source at the Johnson County Prosecutor's Office told Fox59 that Lebo could face a charge of operating a vehicle while under a lifetime driving suspension.
