My LCD monitor flickers when coming out of sleep mode and does not stop. Any clue why this is happening? My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 932b.

I was having the same problem...although the flickering would stop after a minute or two. Getting the latest monitor drivers didn't help. I remembered this had started after I changed the screen refresh rate to 75 Hertz (thinking that would be easier on the eyes), so I changed that back to the default 60 Hertz. No more flickering.
