NBA: Los Angeles Lakers 89, Boston 67
LOS ANGELES, (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant had 26 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday and the Los Angeles Lakers sent the NBA Finals to a decisive seventh game by drubbing Boston 89-67.

Pau Gasol added 17 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists for the Lakers.

The series will be decided Thursday at Staples Center, with the Lakers in line to become the first repeat champions in the NBA since they won three in row in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Ray Allen scored 19 points to lead the Celtics, who shot just 33.3 percent from the field -- and 5-of-23 from 3-point range. The Lakers shot 41.8 percent and were 17-of-19 from the free-throw line.

The Lakers jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and led by as many as 27 points the rest of the way. The Celtics were held to the teens in all but the third quarter when they put up 20 points.
