PHOENIX, May 26 (UPI) -- Amare Stoudemire had 21 points and Channing Frye had 14 Tuesday to lead Phoenix over the Los Angeles Lakers 115-106 and even the Western Conference finals 2-2.

Frye got on track after running up a 1-for-20 shooting mark in the series and helped the Suns reserves outscore the Lakers' bench 54-20.

Steve Nash added 15 points and eight assists while Stoudemire, who scored 42 Sunday in Game 3, was 7-of-14 from the field and hit seven free throws.

Kobe Bryant turned in 38 points for Los Angeles, who will host Game 5 Thursday. Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol both scored 15.

Phoenix used a 41-point second quarter to get a step ahead of the Lakers and take a 64-55 halftime lead.

The Suns lead by one point after three quarters and prevailed in a hard-fought final period that ended with Phoenix outscoring the Lakers 30-22.
