Need help jailbreaking ipod!!!?

I am tring to jailbreak my 2nd g ipod touch 4.1.2 with redsn0w. I was able to dowload redsnow bt my computer isnt letting me dowload the ios 4.1.2 firmware. I dont know if its an ie problem or a windows 7 problem. Does anyone know what to do.
