Need your help to identify a problem

Hi all

Hope you guys are keeping safe. I have a HP L1908w monitor that's is fading, I think it is a hardware issue could you kindly help identify what's the actual problem and perhaps a suggestion on how to fix it.

You need to watch the signal cable, maybe somewhere bent and there was a break.

No I did not plug in the vga cables they are fine instead the problem I'm trying to show is towards the right side of the screen, can you see that the colour is patchy? like its fading off
