please help viewsat has no lights on display ultra lite (need instruructions for kit)

hey guys im new here, id like to say hello to all anyway i have a problem with my viewsat ultra lite there is no lights in the display. this unit is 6 days old and was running fine with wf and poof cant turn it on. i noticed that if i play with the power switch in the back it starts poping up numbers and symbols on the display. can anyone help me please? i saw the viwsat repair kit in files section will this work for me? if so can someone give me instructions on how to use these files and get back uo running with latest filmware
