Need help setting time, so that EPG populates

This seems like a strange question, but I am having a hard time setting the time since the recent time change.
I live in Montreal and during the winter I have no problem setting the time. I choose -5 and summer time = NO.
Logic says, simply put SummerTime = Yes. This does not work. I have to set the time to Manual. Like this, the time displays properly but the EGP (Guide) does not populate.
Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

When u turn on ur receiver do u load the EPG? if so then mayb You will have to set it on Central Or On Eastern Time (but i dont think it really matter) everytime u change channel EPG get down but loads after a few min,,,,,
