Help with PPV

I am not sure if anyone can help me with this, but hopefully. About 3 weeks ago i talk to someone about setting all the fta up for me. he told me that he would set up the private server and i would get the ppv's on the weekend, i.e wrestling, UFC, etc. well first weekend came by and i did not get anything, not even the pre order channel. I spoke to the guy a few time about this and he said he would come to my place and fix it. Well, 3 times later he has no called no show and now won't answer his phone at all.

I still get the normal channels you would get, but do not get the PPV on the weekends like i am suppose to. Does anyone know how to get this problem fixed?

Well u should get your money back from the guy who set it up for you first.....and if u need help go to specific receiver model and see what u can find there and get help from the others that are testing same model u are no one knows what model u have only that it a CNX but which one...?????????????

I am running a cnx nano. I would get my money back from buddy but i can not get a hold of him and he came to my house to set it up, but don't worry about that, as i will be getting my money in the end

This is also where i am lost because when i check system information it says

If i go to the replay of the UFC from lastnight it days say on service, but it does not come through.

Same with the pre order channels. If i go on channel 473 It does say on service, but it is not coming in. just saying scramble

It sound as if you are link into the public server not the private server,,

ok, and judging but what i have been reading on this site the PPV has been down on the public servers right?

Don't get it wrong the private server has a little better but not by much,, if you paid for private your not getting it,,

on the public server most of the time they have the sport events on the PPV channel 455 on the week end only,, sometimes they do give a small few PPV channel week end only,, but you should have all the hbo,show, max,star, and a few porn are up with most of the reg, channels,,

I am not sure if i had it last night as i was out. I do know i do have channel 455 but when the sports have been on over the last few weekends. Mainly the wwe ppv on sundays all i get is the channel sayinig "scramble" I will try rescanning and see if that helps. Should i get the pre-order channel as well?? channel 473?

I just tried rescanning. I am getting all the regular channels, HBO, Showtime, etc. I am not getting the pre-order channels for the ppv. channel 455 is showing "scramble" right now, but i am guessing that is normal as there is no ppv on right now. I will keep my fingers crossed on getting the WWE tonight.

reboot the box with the switch in the back count to 10 that should help the freezing

Gave that a try and am now getting off service. thanks for everything else though. I got a feeling
that my dongle might have problems and i going to have to buy a new one.
