News from Intelsat, SES, Eutelsat and Sea Launch

Intelsat said it selected KT Corporation, a communications service provider for Korea and the Asia-Pacific region, to be a distribution partner for its Network Broadband Global Maritime service. With the offering, KT's maritime customers will receive an always-on broadband connection and automatic beam switching technology for a flat monthly fee --- In addition to the launch of the SES New Skies NSS-9 satellite, Arianespace's Feb. 12 mission also includes the Hot Bird 10 spacecraft built for Eutelsat. It's the first mission of 2009 for Arianespace, which is targeting six to eight Ariane 5 missions this year --- Sea Launch said it will launch the Intelsat 17 satellite in late 2010.
