Rally caps were in order for the Vikings, Jets and Raiders.

Overtime, too.

Brett Favre brought Minnesota back from a 14-point deficit with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter to beat Arizona 27-24 in OT on Sunday with the most yards he's thrown for in his 20-season career. Ryan Longwell's 35-yard field goal won it.

"There was a point in that game where I think everyone in the building thought this is not going well. We don't stand a chance," said Favre, who has 46 career fourth-quarter comeback wins. "But we did."

So did New York, storming back to beat Detroit 23-20 on Nick Folk's 30-yard kick 2:18 into the extra period. Mark Sanchez scored on a quarterback sneak with 2:46 remaining in regulation and led a nine-play drive that set up Folk's 36-yard kick to send the game into OT.

"Obviously we feel fortunate we got the win, but we don't care — we'll take it," coach Rex Ryan said. "That's what good teams do, find a way to win."

Oakland is looking like one of those good teams after its third straight victory, secured on Sebastian Janikowski's 33-yard field goal to edge Kansas City 23-20. He made a 41-yarder in the final seconds of the fourth quarter to tie it.

"This win was probably the win that does wonders for our season," Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell said.

Pittsburgh (5-2) is at Cincinnati (2-5) on Monday night.

Idle this week were San Francisco, Denver, Tennessee, Washington, St. Louis and Jacksonville.

Vikings 27, Cardinals 24 OT

At Minneapolis, Favre threw for a career-high 446 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Vikings (3-5), who fought back cheers of "Fire Childress!" early in the game.

The Cardinals (3-5) led 24-10 with 4:39 to play thanks to a 96-yard kick return by LaRod Stephens-Howling and a 30-yard fumble return by Michael Adams on another kickoff. But Favre directed scoring drives of 40 and 77 yards in regulation and Adrian Peterson's 30-yard run in overtime keyed the winning drive.

Jets 23, Lions 20 OT

At Detroit, Sanchez threw a 52-yard pass to Santonio Holmes to set up Folk's winner.

Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score to give Detroit (2-6) a 10-point lead before reinjuring his right shoulder and leaving with 5:19 left.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz gave Sanchez extra time for the tying drive when he called a pass on third down and Drew Stanton threw an incompletion, giving the Jets (6-2) the ball with 1:40 left.

Raiders 23, Chiefs 20 OT

At Oakland, Calif., Campbell threw a 47-yard pass to rookie Jacoby Ford in overtime to set up the winning kick. Campbell and Ford hooked up on a 29-yard pass in the closing seconds of regulation, too.

Ford, a fourth-round pick, caught six passes for 148 yards and returned the opening kick of the second half 94 yards for a touchdown.

By winning a third straight game for the first time since 2002, Oakland (5-4) heads into its bye week a half-game behind Kansas City (5-3) in the AFC West.
